The independent short film, <a href="http://www.onetakepictures.co.uk/">Dutch Bird,</a> by Kirk Weddel has finally won an award at a film festival in the states. (more details to follow).<br /><br />The award was unvieled at the Brighton premier of the film on Saturday 30th July to a delighted audience of Bugle regulars and stars of the film. Like going back in time eight years or so. A great session featuring some old classics by Dave, some lightning fast reels by Barry and some phenominal dancing by Nigel Maloney. Not as busy as in previous years (largely due to the fact Maj wasn't here I'm sure) but a great craic all the same. </span><br /><span style="font-size:130%;"></span><br /><span style="font-size:130%;">A great day had by all and it was especially nice to see so many old faces, Fergus, Marie et al. Unfortunately, I have no recollection what-so-ever of the night after we finished playing which was around sevenish.
